Per-ticket fees apply on all tiers. An organisation without a subscription can still list and sell courses — the org tier controls platform features, not access to bookings.
FAQ
Common questions
What counts as a "ticket sold"?
Any paid booking completed through Bookatoo. The minimum ticket price is $10. Cancelled bookings that result in a full refund are not charged.
When do I get paid?
Your funds are deposited directly to your nominated bank account. Payouts follow the standard payment processing schedule (typically 2–7 business days). Bookatoo does not hold your funds.
Can I add add-ons mid-run?
Add-ons are set at the course level before tickets go on sale. Once a run is live and bookings exist, add-ons cannot be changed for that run — only for future runs.
Do learners pay the Bookatoo fee?
The fee is deducted from your revenue, not added to the learner's checkout total. You set the ticket price — learners see and pay that price.
What's the difference between a course exam and an in-module quiz?
In-module quizzes are learning triggers with no pass rate or gate. The Course exam ($10/ticket) is a formal assessment with configurable pass mark, attempt limits, and optional certificate gating.
Can I host another organisation's course?
Yes — if they've made it available to host and you're on a Provider or Platform subscription. The $5/ticket course sharing premium applies on all tickets you sell.
